Need an Official Docket or Record?
Use the following official routes for Avoyelles Parish matters:
- A 12th JDC docket sheet: use the Clerk's authorized channel or request the docket from the Avoyelles Parish Clerk of Court
- A court date or setting: review the court schedule, then confirm the setting with the court that has the case
- Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
- A specific case: begin with the docket search route, its case number, and the named court
- Court records and case files: use court case records to identify the custodian, then contact that clerk
For 12th Judicial District Court dockets and records, contact Connie F. Desselle, Avoyelles Parish Clerk of Court, 312 N Main Street, Marksville, LA 71351, 318-253-7523, connied@avoyellescoc.com, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mail may be sent to P.O. Box 219, Marksville, LA 71351.
Marksville City Court and Bunkie City Court retain their own local records. Do not ask the parish Clerk for a city-court or federal case file.
